Maramanjal, also known as Tree Turmeric or Daruhaldi, is a powerful medicinal herb derived from the stem or root of the Coscinium fenestratum plant. It is bright yellow in color, much like turmeric, and has been used in Siddha, Ayurveda, and folk medicine for centuries.
Unlike regular turmeric, Maramanjal is a woody vine and is used externally and internally for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, and antiseptic properties.
